Your community activity should serve you.

This policy explains how Goodness Technology Company handles information in Friends Zone, including the private beta, mobile app, website, community discovery, messaging, events, Work, Flyers, Sports, Studio, Lunch Table, and Marketplace.

Information you provide

We collect account details such as your email, first and last name, age confirmation, city and optional neighborhood; profile details such as photos, bio, values, interests and optional education context; and content you choose to post, save, report, apply to, RSVP to, share or message.

Activity and transaction information

We record app actions needed to operate and improve recommendations, including impressions, opens, passes, saves, searches, applications, RSVPs and reports. Payment providers send us transaction status and identifiers. Friends Zone does not store complete payment card or bank account numbers.

On this beta website, we measure aggregate steps such as opening the signup form, submitting it and trying the interface preview. These events use a temporary page-visit identifier and coarse device category. They do not contain your email, raw IP address, advertising identifier or activity from other websites, and we do not use session replay.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate accounts, show relevant people and community opportunities, operate messaging and safety systems, prevent fraud and spam, process transactions, deliver notifications, measure aggregate campaign outcomes, respond to support requests and improve Friends Zone.

Recommendations and sponsored content

Friends Zone uses profile choices and on-app activity to order community content. Sponsored posts are labeled. Posters receive aggregate campaign results only after enough activity is available; they do not receive a list of who viewed or passed their post. Education details are not used for advertising.

Sharing

We share information with service providers needed to run Friends Zone, including Supabase for data hosting and authentication, Stripe for eligible payments, Expo for app delivery and notifications, Apple for TestFlight and App Store distribution, Resend for requested beta and optional email delivery, and our web hosting and security providers, including Hostinger and Cloudflare where configured. We do not sell personal information or provide private messages to advertisers.

Visibility and location

Your chosen city, neighborhood and public profile fields may be visible to other signed-in users. We use user-selected location context and do not require continuous background location. Exact meetup or pickup details should be shared only with the intended participants.

Retention and deletion

We keep information while your account is active and as needed for safety, dispute resolution, fraud prevention and legal obligations. You can reset learned recommendation activity from Profile. You can permanently delete your account in Profile → Settings → Delete account. Account deletion removes your profile and associated user content; limited payment, dispute or safety records may be retained where legally required.

Your choices

You can edit profile information, change notification and personalization settings, reset recommendation history, report content, block users, withdraw eligible applications and delete your account from the app.

Joining the beta list allows us to send requested beta-access messages. Occasional research and product updates require a separate optional choice. Every such email includes a preference link, and you can withdraw that consent without losing your place on the beta list.

Website security and cookies

We do not use advertising cookies or session-replay tools on this website. Our hosting and security providers may use essential technical cookies or short-lived network information to deliver the site, prevent abuse and protect forms.

Age

Friends Zone private beta accounts are limited to people aged 18 or older.

Security and international processing

We use access controls, row-level security and encrypted transport. No system can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process information in Canada, the United States or other jurisdictions where they operate.
